Unzwa Safaris (PTY) ltd has 14 permanent employees and a number of freelancers and partners. Common to all is that everyone has a high level of competence in what is included in our safaris. Everyone has completed our courses in customer care and follows our «code of conduct». We are a proud team with excellent skills, good values and we have great ambitions.
The Host Couple – Michelle & Thomas
Thomas Doseth is the general manager of Unzwa and is responsible for all daily operations on the Hoogland Farm property. He has experience from event planning and is trained and licensed as a professional Hunter. Thomas has more than 15 years of experience in customer care and administration.
Michelle De Wet is our admin manager. She has a bachelor’s degree in commerce and many years of experience from working in banking.
Both Michelle and Thomas have served as guides for Unzwa Safaris for a long time and know our organization, partners and external locations very well.
The founder – Odd Magne Doseth
Odd Magne Doseth started Unzwa Safaris in 2001 together with two other Norwegians. He has a background from the computer industry and with event planning and administration and a diploma in economics from the Norwegian Business School. Odd Magne is still active in Unzwa as Outfitter, Professional Hunter and guide. He is also active in making podcasts and gives a number of motivational lectures. More about this here:
Our Swedish agents and partners – Anders and Annelie
Anders and Annelie Bengtsoon are our Swedish partners, shareholders and friends. They come every year with Swedish groups that they follow and guide. Both have an education as Field Guides, are interested in wilderness and wildlife and know South Africa very well.
Our valued staff
At Unzwa Safaris we have a number of qualified and motivated employees. Most have been here for many years and know our Scandinavian guests well. There are employees in nature management, agriculture, guiding and hospitality.
